Terms of Service

Simple rules for a better workflow.

Helmlab is a product for freelancers managing client work, active projects, and client portals. By using the service, you agree to use it professionally, respect platform limits, and understand that the product is still evolving during beta.

Updated March 25, 2026

Beta product disclaimer

Helmlab is currently offered in beta. That means features, limits, and workflows may change as we iterate. While we work hard to keep the service stable and to protect account data, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or zero-loss operation during this testing phase.

By using Helmlab during beta, you understand that the service may change rapidly and that we are not liable for data loss, downtime, or workflow interruption arising from beta instability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Your responsibilities

You agree not to use Helmlab, client portals, or messaging surfaces for illegal content, spam, phishing, harassment, impersonation, or other abusive conduct.

You agree not to attempt to jailbreak, reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our integrated AI features or compute resources. You also agree not to automate account creation or operate accounts in a misleading or fraudulent way.

Plan limits and abuse controls

Helmlab may enforce workspace limits, including free-plan client caps and AI usage controls. These limits exist to keep the product sustainable and fair for all users.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that abuse platform limits, interfere with the service, or create unreasonable compute or infrastructure load.

Ownership of your work

You retain ownership of the projects, budgets, notes, client records, and documents you create or upload in Helmlab. Helmlab claims no ownership over your work product.

We only receive the limited rights necessary to host, process, secure, and display your data as part of operating the service for you.

Account termination

You may stop using Helmlab at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create security risk, abuse beta resources, or threaten the reliability of the platform.

If we take action on an account for abuse or platform safety reasons, we may do so without advance notice when immediate action is necessary.
